These locking racks are made from mild carbon steel that has been painted to resist salt conditions, they can be mounted either with a locktight through bolt or you can purchase the mounting brackets for most roof rack brands. They are meant to replace the back part of a ski rack so your reels will be locked up instead of hanging freely.
